It's Always Darth-est Before the Dawn

No Escape

"There is no escape," the Dark Lord hissed, brandishing a scarlet arc of light with his ancient weapon.

The young Jedi cowering amid broken blocks of stone knew the Dark Lord spoke the truth; he knew the battle was done. He had fought mightily, just as his Jedi master had taught him, but it wasn't enough. The Dark Lord was stronger.

Now, in the ruins of the ancient temple where the battle took place, the young Jedi would meet his end. If only he could reach his lightsaber, but it was no use. It had flown from his grasp in the midst of the fight and fallen down a dark chasm in the stone floor. It was gone.

The Dark Lord moved closer, swinging his weapon playfully, cruelly. "I thought you might have more fight in you," he taunted, clearly enjoying the game of cat and mouse. "No hunger for the fight, middling skill, weak resolve, non-existent stamina. I deserve a more worthy opponent." He drew closer still.

The young Jedi edged away, half hypnotized by the swinging blade of light and the bloodcurdling, teasing tone of the Dark Lord's voice. He climbed slowly to his feet, limped backward, never tearing his gaze from the Dark Lord. He might as well stop trying to escape and instead await his inevitable end. He was tired, so tired.

The Boot is on the Other Foot

The Dark Lord jerked back with surprise, suddenly finding himself faced with a snarling and beweaponed Jedi. "Impossible. I disarmed you myself." He seemed shaken, surprised by the trickery. He glanced toward the chasm where the Jedi's weapon had fallen, as if to assure himself it had really happened, and that momentary distraction proved his undoing.

Mustering every ounce of the Force left in his command, the young Jedi leaped forward, swinging his toy weapon toward the Dark Lord's throat as he grabbed for the real weapon in his hand. The Dark Lord's grasp tightened around his weapon, but it was too late.

Now armed with what appeared to be two light sabers, the Jedi advanced toward the Dark Lord menacingly, moving in for the kill, ready to dispatch the Dark Lord with his own Sith weapon. "Wait," the Dark Lord pleaded. "I must know. How did you get your weapon back? I've never seen such a technique!"

Resigned to His Fate

One corner of the young Jedi's mouth curled upward in a smile. "This isn't my weapon," he told the Dark Lord triumphantly. "It's a high quality reproduction, a fake. You can buy them in a range of colors and styles, from the classic blade like ours to the more recent double bladed and cross guard styles. You can even opt for a toy swords bulk order if you want, from a fine retailer. There are designs with a single, solid hue or a rainbow chasing light, if you prefer."

"Well played," the Dark Lord conceded slowly, seeming more impressed with the young Jedi's ingenuity than he was displeased by the trickery. He seemed resigned to his fate as the young Jedi drew back his arm for the final blow. "...Perhaps you were more worthy than I thought..."

No Surrender

Something inside him wouldn't allow him to submit.

As he backed away, his foot nudged an object and he glanced briefly down. With start of recognition, he realized what it was. A light up lightsaber, left among the stone ruins of the ancient temple by a child who was, perhaps, pretending to fight as vicious a battle as the one now underway.

Without thinking, the young Jedi dove to the stone floor, snatched up the toy blade and neatly rolled over and back on to his feet in one smooth motion, pressing the realistic button on the toy, lighting up the blade and producing movie-quality lightsaber sound effects at the same time.

A Sith Sense

We have a Sith-sense feeling you'll want one of these, too, once you Leia eyes on it. Now you, too, can have a light up lightsaber so convincing it might fool a Dark Lord. With hilts so realistic that they're almost indistinguishable from their movie counterparts, these lightsabers will become the finishing touch to a Halloween costume or themed party. Maybe you want one because the kid in you never stopped loving the awe and excitement of the films. Perfect for adults and kids alike for pretend combat, these elegant blades of light are the chosen weapon of a more civilized age.

May the 4th be with You and More

Whether you're planning a Star Wars-themed birthday party, a trilogy re-watch or celebrating May the Fourth in true Jedi style, these convincing light sabers will be a hit with guests. Make a toy swords bulk purchase and hand them out to your guests when they arrive for the ultimate party favor. Hang them on the wall as an eye-catching decoration guests can take home with them. If someone else is throwing a Star Wars-themed party, bring an extra lightsaber along as a host or hostess gift and instantly become their favorite guests. While these blades are not powered by a Kyber crystal like the real Jedi weapons, the luminescent blades are still as bright as the real thing thanks to their high-powered batteries, and they would impress even Obi-Wan Kenobi himself.

To the Hilt

Palpatine may have been able to shoot lightening right out of his fingertips, but you're probably not to that level yet in your training. Buy the light-up saber version instead and save yourself or your loved ones the long hours of carrying Yoda piggy-back through the Dagobah swamps. If you're thinking about decorating a child's bedroom in Star Wars style, these sabers with their film quality detailing on the hilt will make excellent wall decorations that can double as fun toys for a mock combat session when a friend comes to visit. With their sturdy plastic construction, they'll hold up to an afternoon of fun while still being soft enough to cause no lasting damage in a duel. You can also equip a man cave or game room for a die-hard fan with few light sabers to enhance a science fiction theme.

Your Own Unique Star Wars Character

If Halloween is approaching and you're running low on costume ideas, pair one of these elegant weapons with a cloak for an easy and inexpensive costume. The range of colors is true to those used by characters in the movies, so you can arm yourself with Darth Maul's red, dual-bladed weapon, Kylo Ren's cross guard blade, a blue light saber like the one Luke inherited from his father Anakin or a green lightsaber like the one Luke made to replace the one he lost. There's even a saber with a pinkish-purple blade if you're intent on cosplaying as Mace Windu. You can also create your own unique Star Wars character and choose from the many styles of lightsabers to complete your vision. There are even miniature blades that blink and would work well at keeping a trick-or-treating child visible after dark even if they're not going as a Star Wars character.

Farscape More Your Style?

Even if you're not a fan of space odysseys, these light up lightsabers make fun displays after dark. Celebrate the Fourth of July with a red, white and blue blade that's almost as fun as the fireworks. Rainbow hued blades are perfect for a parade, and there's even a style that includes a built-in, light-up star for a space princess. Some blades feature light-changing technology for those who don't want to commit to just one color scheme. The options for using these fun light up swords are as wide and varied as the galaxy itself, so let your padawan spirit free to enjoy them in a way that's perfect for you
